Non Open Rules

GENERAL RULES

 

1.   Age groups are 12 & under, 13-25, and 26 & over.

2.   A contestant will receive a no time for knocking over a barrel.

3.   A contestant will receive a no time for breaking the pattern.

4.   A contestant will be disqualified for abuse of a horse in any way or using abusive

      language.

5.   Time onlys are $4 per minute. Time starts when you enter the arena.

6.   Time break will be calculated after the 4^th race. There will be 3 Divisions in each age  

      group.

7.   Division time break downs start with fastest time of the contestant entered into the

      awards series.

8.   No cross entering in the open.

9.   Not co-approved with any other association.                                                              

10. Western attire is encouraged.

11.Western boots required.

12. No alcohol on premises.

13. No smoking in the barns.

14. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

15. Show management reserves the right to make any final decisions necessary.

 

1.  Awards fee must be paid before points will count for awards.

2.  Must attend at least 5 of the 8 races to be eligible for awards.

3.  Awards will be given to each person that participates in at least 5 of the 8 races.

4.  Points will be given as follows:

     -First place=10 points                       -Sixth place=5 points

     -Second place=9 points                    -Seventh place=4 points

     -Third place=8 points                       -Eighth place=3 points

     -Fourth place=7 points                     -Ninth place=2 points

     -Fifth place=6 points                        -Tenth place= 1 points

5.  Points will be posted after 6 races.

6.  Buckles go to first place in each Division.

7.  Awards fee is $35.00.

8.  Entry fee is $15.00.

9.  Any horse/rider combination.

10.  One award per contestant in highest placing division.
